Alvin Lucier: I am sitting in a room – a tape music classic, here in the composer's original recording from 1970. Björn Nilsson: CXLI Greetings to La Monte Young, for piano and percussion, is actually a version of Young's arabic numeral (renamed for curious but necessary reasons). Zoltán Jeney: KATO NK 300; July 22, 1979, 10.30 a.m. - Liptó Street, Budapest. An objet trouvé, found at a time and place accounted for in its title, and performed by the composer on organ. Three masterworks of minimalism – all composed with a minimum of means. "A fantastic record, and a must for friends of minimalism. Play it seldom." (Kristianstadsbladet) |
